All my work is of original design and made with Bullseye Glass from Portland, Oregon—a high quality type of glass, rich in color and compatible in its glassmaking and fusing compositions. Many of these designs have originated from imaginative characters made up during my childhood. Over time, they’ve been improved and remediated through my work mediums going from simple pen and ink water colors, to wood carving and painting, to stained glass, to my kiln-formed and flame-worked glass today.

All are consistent in my artistic expressions of the environment and my love for the natural world. I hope that each plate or bowl acts as a canvas, expressing an interactive scene of beautiful nature and animals.

Regarding the larger bowls and plates, some are made with irridized glass or dichroic glass, and they are all embellished with extra flame-work pieces I designed separately. What separates the work of each bowl, plate, and small ornament, is the amount of time and effort invested into each piece and how many glass layers or individual pieces of glass made the whole.
